Dear friends
On benalf of the executive board of EUPSA I would like to announce you that Prof. Alaa Hamza has suddenly passed away due to a car accident yesterday . It is a great loss for the entire Pediatric Surgical community. Alaa was real friend for all of us, full of energy, a master pediatric surgeon , bright scientist and above all an excellent mentor for young pediatric surgeons. He was elected recently as the President of Ain Shams University and already had contact with a lot of us to formalize new cooperation ; he was a member of numerous international societies and recognized by everyone as very kind, humble and honorable human being . We send our deep condolences to all the Egyptian pediatric surgeon's community and more over his family: Rasha, his wife and his children: Alaa junior, Farida and Nesrine
